Motorcycle towing in Tampa

A bike that will not start is a different problem from a car that will not start, because you cannot leave it and walk away. Ours travels strapped down and moved on dollies, and we will tell you exactly how yours will be secured before the truck leaves. Call and tell us what the bike is, and we will talk it through before the truck leaves.

Bikes we move

  • Cruisers — Harley-Davidson Softail and Sportster, Indian Scout, Yamaha Bolt.
  • Sportbikes — Yamaha R1 and R6, GSX-R, ZX-10R, CBR, Ducati Panigale.
  • Touring bikes and baggers — Road Glide, Street Glide, Gold Wing, FJR.
  • Adventure and dual-sport — BMW GS, KTM Adventure, V-Strom, Africa Twin.
  • Scooters and small-displacement bikes.
  • A bike you have just bought or sold and need moved across town.

When to call for a bike

  • It will not crank and roadside fiddling has not fixed it.
  • You went down. Even a slow tip-over can bend a lever or a peg enough to make riding unsafe.
  • A flat tire — rarely worth fixing on the roadside on a bike.
  • Chain or belt failure, which strands you exactly where it happens.
  • Electrical failure mid-ride, with no lights and no starter.
  • A bike bought or sold that needs to get between two addresses.

How it goes

  1. 1Call and tell us the make and model, whether it rolls, and whether the front wheel and forks are straight.
  2. 2Get yourself and the bike off the road and stay with it if you safely can.
  3. 3The driver secures the bike with straps against the frame and moves it on dollies.
  4. 4It comes off the same way it went on, at the shop, the dealer or your garage.

What it costs

A bike is priced like any other local tow: from $95, covering the run out to you and a set towing distance, then a flat rate per extra mile.

There is no surcharge for a motorcycle over a car.

You get the figure on the phone before we set off.

Local tow from $95. We will not give you an arrival time over the internet that we might not keep — call and we will tell you where the truck actually is.

Motorcycle Towing — common questions

How exactly is the bike secured?

Straps against the frame, and the bike moved on dollies rather than dragged on its own wheels. We describe it plainly because riders care, and because you should know what is going to happen to your bike before it happens.

Do I have to be there when the bike is picked up?

For a breakdown you usually are already. For a bike being moved between two addresses, somebody needs to hand it over and somebody needs to receive it — it does not have to be you both times. Tell us the arrangement when you call.

The bike went down. Can it still be moved?

Almost always. Tell us what is bent — bars, forks, pegs — when you call, so the driver knows what he is working with before he arrives.

Can you move a trike or a bike with a sidecar?

Call and describe it. Three-wheeled machines vary enormously in width and weight, and we would rather work that out on the phone than at the roadside.

Need this right now?

A real person picks up, day or night. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
