ONE TOWING is a towing and roadside assistance company based in Downtown Tampa, Florida. We tow cars, SUVs, vans and motorcycles, and we handle the roadside problems that do not need a tow at all — dead batteries, keys locked inside, an empty tank. What we do — and what we deliberately do not

We do consent towing only. That means the owner of the vehicle calls us and asks for the tow. It is the whole of our business, and it shapes everything else about how we work.

We do not do repossessions. We do not tow cars off private property at a landlord’s request. We do not immobilise vehicles with boots, and we do not run an impound lot — your car goes where you tell us, not to a yard where you have to buy it back.

We also do not change tires. If a tire is gone, we will take the car to a shop that can replace it.

How pricing works

A local tow starts at $95. That covers driving out to you and towing the car a set distance. Beyond that it is $5 per extra mile, and longer runs move down to $3 per mile.

Roadside work — a jump start, a lockout, fuel — is quoted on the call, because what it takes varies too much to put a single number on a web page.

Either way, you get the figure before anything moves, not after. And we will not give you an arrival time over the internet that we might not keep — call and we will tell you where the truck actually is.
